Pastries @ Touche Pastries & more

Gloomy Sunday today! Hope the rain can come soon coz it's HOT!

This lazy Sunday, why not a sweet treat to my big stomach..hohohoho...

My crave for Swirls was bad! Then I recalled my Boss (Bob) recommended Touche as a new patisserie that serves great Swirls. He recommended this place and asked me not to go during lunch or I'll be stucked in the crowd.

Ok... I went there.

Touche Pastry & more is located at Section 17 (PJ), isolated but the aroma of bread smells great from meters away. The moment I got off from my car... and tadaa.... I knew I've recommended to a great place coz the aroma was appetizing.

I was only able to grab fast things hence I took away the pastries from the counter. The pastries were beautifully presented in the chiller; and the danish as well as bread looks great too. This place is just as good as those cafes in Australia and Europe.

I got myself:-

* Hazel ( tasted like chocolate &hazelnut mousse, not too sweet and chocolate taste is rich)
* Matcha Green Tart ( the Azuki bean paste with the great flavor of green tea, always great match like eternal hubby and wife).
* Mille Feuille ( taste wise is good, which suits a lot of Malaysian as I also like the taste, but the outlook and texture a little bit hard/crunchy)
* Walnut Swirl ( I love it so much as it's not too sweet and the flaky danish... awesome)

Price:

Reasonable for this level of pastries.

Overall, not much to comment as my time spent were just less than 10 minutes. I will return to try out the overall experience.

Lychee Salad S.Wine Cafe

Past Post ^^

Hi friends!

It has been busy months catering the celebration of Christmas, Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day.

Celebrations are all about eating to me.
Lately I fell in love with a Salad. The taste can hardly be decribed. The juicy watermelon, the sweet n big lychees, fragranced basils, mints n chives, crunchy cabbage and carrots, matching the all-rounded roasted pork--- Unbelievelable Combination. Indeed a Fantastic Scrumptious Saladõ.
Who created this????

Grabbing this chance to thank Chef Chong Ko Wai for his recommendation. He told me " Must Have the Lychee Salad" @S.Wine Cafe @Publika.

Indeed it's refreshingly filling.

I even ordered a classical Pork Chop which was a very big portion.

My overall comment to this eating place is:-

* reasonable price

* nice food with good menus

* nice porky place

* just the portion a little bit big which is good for sharing.

Will likely return to this cafe only for the Salad.
